Finding Fisher’s Physician

How nurse navigation changed the life of this 30 year benefits broker and his bride. Our Interview today is with Bill Fisher, former executive and employee benefits broker. Bill reached out to me when he learned of my and my wife’s experience with a nurse navigator for her surgery and how we’re using nurse navigation to help employers and individuals find the right care.  He wanted to know how to find the best surgeons and hospitals using quality outcomes versus the information that’s on the internet and through traditional insurance carriers websites. What he learned was shocking and more than that, life saving. You see he did some research on his own and what he learned very likely saved his wife from unnecessary complications and to help her find the best surgeons for her. The lesson here is that everyone can benefit from having access to transparent quality information to make a more informed health decisions.
